Are you ready for some hearty laughs? Because that's what you're going to get with Jimmy Vee's Professor Nincompoop. Nick and Tess are Professor Nincompoop's biggest fans, maybe his only fans. One day, the professor announces that he has made an amazing discovery that will put him in the Professors Hall of Fame, his lifelong dream. He reveals to Tess and Nick that he has been searching for an elusive animal so mysteriously mysterious that only other animals know where he lives, but he has finally found it. While Tess is eager to take a selfie with it, Nick asks the professor how exactly did he find the animal and capture it. Nincompoop replies that he knows forty-three hundred different animal languages, and his expertise in taekwondo helped him catch it. But did he really?
Treat yourself to a hilarious tale of an eccentric professor and his two young fans with Professor Nincompoop. Jimmy Vee has crafted a fun-filled picture book that entertains from start to finish, with surprises along the way that make you wonder what's going to happen on the next page. Vee's humor-filled dialogue is witty and charming, delivered by three quirky and immensely likable characters you will love. Ben Askew's illustrations perfectly capture the characters' personalities and make them come alive on the pages. The book also features a few cute little animals with prominent roles in the story. Some of the jokes had me chuckle out loud, and overall, I had a blast reading the book. If you enjoy funny cartoons, you will love this book. Recommended to young readers below the age of ten.
