A child prays to see her mother, while two other children pray that God will send them an angel. As He always does, God heard their prayers. He sent Alexandre/Alexandra, an angel.

At one time, Juliana sang for her adoring fans, but no more. She lived in a seedy hotel and drank herself into oblivion. She begged for change to buy a cup of coffee or a hot meal. She longed to hear her daughter’s voice, but her mother slammed the phone when she asked. She asked herself why she does not quit. Then once again, she remembers her mother’s voice telling her how useless she is. She needed to “turn off that voice that says you aren’t good enough.”

It has been two years since Steve Major’s wife died; he still mourns for her.
