Tee and Kay Present: 7 Character Traits for Kids is written by Stanley G Buford. In all seven short stories, Tee and Kay learn some valuable lessons about personal behavior and responsibility by exercising the things they learn. There is more to being kind than just a simple wave or smile. A selfless gesture like giving your lunch to someone in need when you can get something else to eat later can make someone else’s smile brighter. Kay discovers that being afraid of a bully is normal but standing up to them takes courage and Tee learns that honesty is always the best policy, even if it means others may get a bit angry at first.

Tee and Kay Present: 7 Character Traits for Kids by Stanley G Buford offers seven traits followed by a story that explains the trait in a way that children can understand and learn from. I love how Buford created Tee's and Kay’s personalities so well that even I, an adult, got caught up in their behavior and the stories. The traits of Kindness, Honesty, Caring, Courage, Appreciation, Self Discipline, and Self Control are displayed beautifully throughout these stories. I love how Buford described the traits in easy to comprehend words before starting the stories. I hope that he has plenty more stories like Tee and Kay Presents with many more life lessons that children can learn from. I recommend this book to anyone who has children and would like to reinforce some basic moral concepts.
