The setting is 1377 Annadale, Scotland. Lady Fiona Jardine was too quick to marry. Her husband, Will, was abusive. He hit, punched and slapped her, despite her pregnancy. He even hit her in her stomach. She fell, hit her head, and was left unconsciousness. When she regained consciousness, her husband was missing.

Her father in law accused Fiona of murdering his sons. He insisted that Sir Richard Seyton become the guardian of his unborn grandchild and the estates. The old man wanted Fiona hung. Richard and Fiona worked together to find her missing husband. The two found themselves falling in love. Dangers abound around them.

"Tempted By a Warrior" takes readers back in time to medieval Scotland, where life was primitive, barbaric and passionate. This is the third book in the Dunwythie Trilogy. The books stand well along but I enjoyed reading them in order. This is a fast paced, edge of your seat, page turner. Intrigue, deception, passion, and romance fill the pages. Fans of historical romance will not want to miss this one.
