In The Color of Wounds: A Kent Stephenson Thriller by Frank Martorana, Kent’s life is perfect at the moment and he is living his dream. Unfortunately, all of that is quickly going to change as important historical buildings and statutes are being blown up in his small town and Kent is the only one receiving communication from the unknown bomber. Adding to his worries, Kent’s old girlfriend arrives as part of a committee to approve his veterinarian complex including a teaching school. She hopes to rekindle their romance, but Kent has a woman in his life that he is very much in love with and this creates just one more problem for him. Many people become involved while others are thought to be the possible bad guys and the entire town is turned upside down before the dramatic and surprising ending is revealed.
The Color of Wounds: A Kent Stephenson Thriller by Frank Martorana is definitely listed in the right category. The thrills continue throughout the story and never stop or become boring. I found this story to be different and more thrilling than I expected and loved the ending which no one could ever see coming. The bomber turned out to be a very dangerous, diabolical, angry person. Frank Martorana has taken a huge step forward in the thriller genre; I really believe his ending was very different and genius. I am so looking forward to reading more of the Kent Stephenson Thriller series. The Color of Wounds is everything a suspense story could offer and more – do not pass this one up.
