Treasures from Beyond the Rainbows by Angelica R. Clark is a thoughtful, heartfelt, and touching children's picture book. While having tea with her favorite stuffed horse, Lela finds a feather and believes that her grandmother sent it. She takes the feather and puts it in a jar, telling her brother that the feather is another gift from beyond the rainbows, from their grandmother. Lela and her brother both miss their grandmother. Therefore, they're always glad to receive all kinds of treasures since she became an angel. Lela's best friend also believes that her little brother, who's an angel, sends her treasures from beyond the rainbows, too. Lela's dad doesn't believe in angels or their treasures. However, he tells her he connects with his mother differently.

Filled with warm messages of hope, healing, and assurance that our deceased loved ones are still with us, along with superb illustrations by Audeva Joseph, there's no better way to help youngsters cope with loss and grief. Treasures from Beyond the Rainbows offers a gentle approach that inspires children to honor the memories of loved ones who are now angels with joy rather than grief. This lovely work by Angelica R. Clark is an excellent addition to any family touched by death in some way or another, showing how angels may try to forge or maintain a comforting connection with us. I highly recommend this book, as it encourages us to find comfort in openly sharing memories of a deceased loved one, and also shows that treasures from beyond the rainbows come in many forms.
