Two Faced by Alexis Kennedy is an action thriller. There ain’t no stopping Scarlett Vanderwall. She always gets whatever she is after, at least that what she believes. Ivan Stanislovsky is a gun for hire; smart, daring, strong, but this might just be one assignment too far. Two people, both chasing the same target; the hit man and the CIA operative in a race against time across Europe, playing the deadliest game of cat and mouse ever played. Scarlett is the CIA operative who is determined to stop hit man Stanislovsky from getting in her way, but passion and Aiden Bradley, DEA agent, muddy the waters. Scarlett has to make a decision; just how far will she go and will her dedication to duty win over her infatuation?

Two Faced by Alexis Kennedy is one of the best thrillers I have read in a long time. It is incredibly well-written, with a great plot that keeps you guessing all the way. There is plenty going on in this story, lots of twists and turns that kept me hooked, right from page one all the way to the end. The characters were developed in a way that helped me to understand who they were, what made them tick and I found them easy to identify with. The details were drip-fed through the story, a story that I found complex yet easy to follow and keep up with. Some authors have a way with words, some don’t; Ms. Kennedy most definitely has a way of bringing scenes to life with her command of language and that made this an easy and engrossing book to read. I will definitely be looking for more from this author.
