In his latest thriller, author Michael Harvey takes us into the streets of Chicago where a bio-terrorism attack has occurred. We All Fall Down is a typical Harvey novel, in which former cop and private investigator Michael Kelly races to save the city with precious little help and oodles of people and agencies trying to prevent his success. The story initially takes us to the subway system where it appears that some kind of pathogen has been released, a phenomenon which could end up killing millions of people.

Enter the doctors from a private laboratory, the CIA, the FBI and the West Side mobs who would kill someone because of a dirty look. There are hospitals and trains converted to rolling hearses. There is fire and containment walls and one freakish turn after another. Of course, Michael Kelly, himself, adds to the growing clutter of bodies as his life is threatened by one group after another.

Michael Harvey has a heart-stopping, terse manner of relating events and personal characteristics. His characters are provocative and the reader is caught wondering, time and time again, who the good guys really are...if indeed, there are any good guys at all. Mr. Harvey seems to be a major voice in the literary world of intrigue, mystery and thrilling near-to-life occurrences. When you read this book, you will never think of Black Biology or government in the same way, but you will definitely think your way through the entire book.
