At first glance a woman might be slighted by this author’s portrayal of marriage. I am a Christian wife, and I believe in the divine order, which is God, man, woman, child. However, some may take this author's portrayal of marriage as moving woman back to the stone ages.

In today’s modern world, many woman work, especially during these hard recessionary times. However, to the author’s credit this book is about much more than a woman’s submission to her husband. When a Woman Inspires Her Husband is not so much about men ruling the household and marriage, as it is about analyzing the most basic differences between a man and a woman and how we approach and interact with each other.

When a Woman Inspires Her Husband helped me to understand that we as woman can be guilty of wanting our husbands to be more womanly-like. This, I felt, was a profound statement and realization. It was also something I, personally, never considered before; but the author is correct, at least in my estimation.

I must admit that I want my husband to remember all the important dates. I also have this expectation that I want him to communicate and respond the way I might respond emotionally to any given situation. If your goal is to inspire your husband, then this book will help you to master a true understanding of men and how we as woman can get our husbands to adore us. It doesn’t matter if you are a housewife or a working wife, the principles are still the same. So the old saying rings true in this case: women are from Venus and men are from Mars. When a Woman Inspires her Husband is a transforming read.
