Having self-confidence is something you learn from an early age, so books that teach children they can do anything they want are among the most precious gifts we adults can give them. One of these beautiful books is You're Going to Go Far by Amanda Minuk. The protagonist is a cute little yellow bird that young readers follow as he discovers how to go far and what happens along the way. Do you want to find out with him? Minuk's story will make you realize that you can do what you want and allow you to achieve all your goals. It will also show you what you can do to help others.
I think the best thing about You're Going to Go Far is that this book teaches children valuable lessons by explaining them in a simple and fun way. Amanda Minuk had a great idea to portray the protagonist of this story as a little yellow bird - the symbol that proves it is possible to fly high and achieve what we set out to do. I was also impressed by the advice she imparts to her young readers. Some adults may never have heard such supportive and empowering things, and I believe that any parent who wants their children to grow up with positive values and self-confidence will appreciate the power of this story. I recommend the book to all children (and adult readers) who dream of a great future. Here they will find the essential teachings to make it happen.
