The name Joyce Meyer’s is well known. Have you ever wondered how she manages to accomplish so much? She’s an author, speaker, wife, and mother and yet has time for bible study. MS Meyer’s graciously shares her secrets for time management with readers.

Her suggestions are common sense. Such as, do one thing at a time. When we try to “multitask” we usually accomplish nothing. Two stood out in my mind. Learn to say no and set boundaries. A wise woman told me, “Choose one day per week and write no on my calendar. When someone asks me to do something on that day, without being dishonest you can say, “I checked my calendar and I have something on that day.” Setting boundaries is difficult for me. That’s the first one I intend to work on.

Meyers mentions realistic expectations. I find that often I am self defeated because I set my expectations too high. She also discusses distractions. I could go on and on but I think you see MS Meyer offers great advice.

I suggest using this book as a devotional. It contains scriptures, each chapter is short and there are great examples to illustrate MS Meyer’s point. I highly recommend this book.

In "100 Ways to Simplify Your Life", Joyce Meyer presents 100 bits of terrific unsolicited advice that we all need to receive. Each of these 100 short chapters begins with an insightful quote and pertinent scripture verse (that I recommend the reader memorize) which reinforces the advice that Joyce Meyer gives. Her fine writing rounds out each topic to give the reader a completely though-provoking and Bible-based experience.

This book is awesome because it displays many of the practical lessons that the Bible teaches on living a simplified life. Each chapter is a quick, practical read that has a style similar to a daily devotional, so the book can be read daily for a five to ten minute boost of encouragement.

This book has changed my life in so many ways. I love it so much, I ordered another copy for my friend. This is the book for anyone that is losing their way or needs a little reminder of the basic bible principals that make our lives run smoothly.

I highly recommend this book for every Christian out there. Joyce Meyers is a great teacher, straight to the point and is very relatable.

Joyce Meyer uses her unique brand of common sense, and Biblical perspective, to help us find true simplicity in our lives, and freedom in God. Each chapter is short enough to be a great daily reading, making it easy to use this book as a devotional, or as an addition to one already in use. It is a tool for simplifying what we often make complicated-life. Joyce never misses the mark, and to me she has scored another great book.

I bought this book for my daughter. She took it back to college with her and enjoyed it very much, thanks again.

Joyce Meyer is always entertaining and brings the gospel to life in a user friendly way. This may not be #1 of her books, but it ranks right up there in the top 10. We are ALL to busy. Sometimes hard to follow her advice, which means SHE IS right! I recommend for those of us doing too many things.

I have watched Joyce Meyer on TV many times over the years. Her messages are awesome. This was my first time reading a book by her. I loved it. The book was easy to read and understand. You can read a little each day and reflect on the message. I could relate too many of her 100 ways to simplify your life. Finally, I like how she also provides a scripture for each way. This book truly blessed me! I will incorporate many of these in my day to day lifestyle to simplify my life. Anyway, I did purchased several of Joyce books when I got "100 Ways to Simplify Your Life" so now I will start reading "Managing Your Emotions" Then "The Power of Being Positive"; "Conflict Free Living" and "Battlefield Of The Mind" I look forward to the blessings that I will receive from these books as well. Also, she have a few really nice daily devotional books that I am now reading everyday in the morning I read "A New Day A New You" and at night I read "Ending Your Day Right." I highly recommend you read a few of Joyce Meyer books should you have the opportunity. You will not be disappointed and you will gain even more.

My second Joyce Meyer book and it was pleasurable to say the least. Self-help devotees will savor it all as the author points out so vividly what life's priorities really are, and how to achieve more satisfaction from those hectic schedules and demands. The writing is clear-cut and void of any dichotomies. The one item of interest to me that stuck in my mind was about setting boundries (#18). The solid tips are profitable, convincing and certainly down-to-earth. This little book makes a great gift, and is perfect for individuals who are at their rock-bottom in life. This book is well written and easy to read. If followed, most of the ideas Joyce shares would help to organize and simplify your lifestyle. It would be a great buy for someone interested in slowing down their pace of life and transforming their behavior. I like the short, succinct chapters, which are easy to read in a short sitting. That allows you to read a few chapters a day and take time to absorb the material before reading another few chapters. Contains great advice--very helpful.

First of all, Joyce Meyer is a Christian writer. I'm familiar with other books of hers, but I hadn't enjoyed any via audiobook. This book is read by Sandra McCollom who is Joyce's youngest daughter. She is a Christian stay at home mom to twin girls and did a wonderful job with this book. I enjoyed her passion in the reading as well as her voice and cadence.

100 Ways to Simplify Your Life begins with #1, moving all the way through #100. Each of the Ways are their own section in the audio, so it's easy to re-listen to them and refer back to them. Each of the 100 Ways begins with a quote and I found myself looking forward to them. In fact I made notes of some that were particularly interesting to me. I do not want to spoil the book for anyone, but I'd like to list a couple of the Ways.

#5--Don't worry about tomorrow
#11--Don't make mountains of of molehills
#33--Follow your heart
#42--Be thankful
#65--Give up control
#81--Bridle your tongue
#97--Be faithful
Many, if not all of these, contain biblical references, further backing up her view of the ways to simplify your life, by God's word. It is true that God wants us to lead a simple life and cast our troubles to him. I believe that was the message I was to take from this book since it's the one I noticed being repeated throughout the many Ways.

I loved this book. I was listening to this at the same time that I read No Experts Needed: The Meaning of Life According to You by Louise Lewis. I do not believe that these were sent to me at the same time was an accident. It was meant for me to read them. It is my goal, challenge, mission and prayer to begin living a better life. I really have this book to thank.
