Okisha Jackson comes from a military family and has served over two terms in the Army. After her career, she obtained a Bachelor of Business degree, a Masters of Education degree, and became a licensed minister in 2014.
Her pride and joy is being a caretaker to her mother and three sons, teaching elementary and middle school students in the Central Texas area, and providing exhortation and sound counsel effectively to broken people through her writing, sharing her testimonies, and engaging in strategic prayer.

A Successful Failure: The Complete Series by Okisha Jackson is a trilogy that includes the three stories: Against All Odds, The Betrayal, and More Than a Conqueror. The stories chronicle the fictional life of a soldier named Shauna Jackson. It is an inspirational tale that is heavy on the influence of the Lord and the Holy Spirit, although Shauna does not always follow the path that she believes the Lord wants her to take. This story sets out to inspire people to have faith, to grow closer to a god, and to make good decisions so they can have a strong quality of life and not repeat some of the same mistakes that Shauna did. But it also chooses to inspire people with the tales of her triumphs.
Shauna's voice was so strong in this story that at times I really felt like I was reading a non-fiction story. I felt that all of the good and bad things that happened to Shauna were real, and I think other readers will connect with that voice as well. Readers will like the strong religious theme that runs through these stories. They will also appreciate the inspirational messages. There are many positive messages within these stories that readers can learn from, with a special emphasis on living life in a way that is pleasing to oneself and the spiritual power that you serve.
