Windhollows Trilogy Book 1: Air of Vengeance is a teenage action/adventure story written by Trayner Bane. What if ever since birth everyone considered you a worthless, useless nobody and everyone you knew made fun of you and treated you as if you were a doormat just to wipe their shoes on? That is how Billy Molskin felt since he was born. Nobody except his father treated him decently or with the respect that he deserved, at least not until he was about twelve years old when he first met a group of young children who were around his age. Then his life changed forever, but with this dramatic life changing event, would he be able to fit in with these new kids, or would his entire existence fall apart due to his lack of much-needed social skills?
Reading Air of Vengeance has been a pleasure because the plot of the story reflects some of my own personal experiences. I could easily relate to this story. The characters were well balanced and, as the story went on, the characters became more independent and yet still bound the story’s theme together tightly. This is a book that everybody who enjoys fantasy and action will thoroughly enjoy, with its magical beasts and fantastical adventures. Everyone who reads Windhollows Trilogy Book 1: Air of Vengeance will learn something important, because the story will spark the reader's innermost imagination.
