With the sea at her disposal, will her wish come true? Find out in this book.
Amara Sets Sail was a joy to read. Children are going to love this incredibly adventurous book by the talented Suzanne Morreale. She has created an entertaining storyline that is flawless. The story reads smoothly and is easy to visualize. I found the story of Amara to be heart-warming, and I know children will too. As well as following Amara's journey to find a new home, there is also a hidden meaning behind it, which I feel is "home is where the heart is" as Amara realizes where she really belongs. The illustrations by Marizan are highly professional and help bring to life the characters Suzanne has created. I'd love to see more books based on Amara, maybe where she visits other countries and goes on even more adventures. I feel children would love that. Suzanne and Marizan have worked well together to make this a great book. I have no doubt that it will become a favorite among children. Congrats and keep writing!
