"Angels Among Us" by L.R. Fite takes readers into the unseen world of the spiritual battles taking place all around us. Meg is a teenager who wasn't taught about the Lord while growing up but seeks to know more after the loss of someone she loves. As she struggles between choosing to follow witchcraft and darkness or the truth of Christ, her choices impact the war being waged in the spiritual realm. Her angel Shamar is dealing with his own struggle as he learns about the importance of free will. This book exposes the importance of our choices in the spiritual realm and the ultimate battle for our souls.
Daring to take teens to a new level of spiritual awareness, "Angels Among Us" reveals biblical truths about the spiritual battles we all face. It is a wake up call to teens who walk in the world or experiment with the occult. The struggles Meg faces reflect the reality of what teens today are dealing with, and they will easily relate to their insecurities. Pressure to fit in and be popular in a secular world will resonate with christian youth who face persecution for their beliefs. I appreciate the author's inclusion of a character, Megs' sister, who had gifts of discerning spirits. I know how confusing it must have been for her without a christian upbringing. This book will encourage young teens who are walking with Christ and provide an uplifting alternative for teens who are struggling with their beliefs.
