Nothing beats a friendship built on love, trust, and understanding. It brings many blessings that we can hardly imagine. Beary Cub Club by Anthony P. Mauro Sr. depicts friendship in its truest form in the adventurous story of Junebeary and her best friends. This adventure kicks off after a long, cold winter, when they hibernated. Junebeary and her friends got so overwhelmed with excitement on their first meeting in spring that they didn't notice when Junebeary’s little brother, Wildbeary, wandered into the dark forest. Their excitement quickly turns into anxiety and fear, leading to the start of the adventurous and incredible aspects of nature and friendship. If you would like to know more about what true friendship, kindness, and teamwork look like, read this beautiful book to find out.
The book portrays the beauty of building a healthy friendship group where everyone who is in it is allowed to be themselves. Beary Cub Club by Anthony P. Mauro Sr. is enriched with themes of bravery, cooperation, love, mutual understanding, problem-solving skills, intelligence, punctuality, and acceptance. I love how the author teaches young readers patience, as Junebeary handles Razzbeary and Wildbeary with love and maturity, no matter the situation. The uniqueness of each character in the story, from the heroic Goosebeary to the funny Chucklebeary, helps young readers realize that they are all unique in their own way and shows how they complement one another. The colorful illustrations brought the characters to life on each page. I recommend this book to everyone who values the true essence of friendship.
