Beloved Evolution is the sixth book in the Father, Creator, Spirit series by Deborah Lamoreaux. In the future, Archangel Raphael brings the wealthy industrialist Trent Dorchester and Melanie Kruger, a growing influencer, together in dreams that defy their conventional sense of reality. Raphael wants Trent and Melanie to work together and stop the machinations of the Verndari, fallen angels with plans to dominate the world by marginalizing and conquering underprivileged people. Despite her initial reluctance, Melanie agrees to help and starts using her position at Food for Thought in New York to further their plans. Meanwhile, she develops feelings for Trent. Now, with the Verndari after them, Melanie and Trent will have to complete their mission with love, faith, and grace.

Peppered with biblical lessons throughout, Beloved Evolution is an invigorating read laced with romance, drama, and mystery. Deborah Lamoreaux has built an immersive, fantastical world with likable characters who are so easy to root for. The author paces the plot nicely, allowing the characters to grow organically as they navigate the baggage of the past and present. Trent and Melanie's amusing back-and-forth was one of the book's highlights for me. They have amazing chemistry, and every time the two are on the page together, it is a joy to read. I also loved how the angels are depicted. Raphael has a unique and eccentric personality that I found very interesting. The humor and emotional stakes add depth to the narrative. All in all, this book is a treat for Christian fantasy and romance readers.

This suspenseful book follows the futuristic adventures of Melly and Trent as they navigate both internal and external conflicts. This was a new genre for me, and I enjoyed the fun banter and growing affection between the two main characters, as well as the author's vivid and descriptive writing. Such an imaginative story!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Love Story with Each Other and with God

Like the other books in this series, the couple involved are challenged in dreamscapes called the void. Anything can and does happen there with Melanie and Trent, but their relationship in real life, seems stuck. Melanie's fear. Trent's stubbornness. All the reasons they shouldn't be together. At times the story lagged, but the emotions between these two grow and change as their relationships to God grow and change. The love story is breath-taking by the end. Their relationships to God are stronger too.
I've read other books in this series. This may be my favorite.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another fascinating book in this series.

I've not read this series in order. This is the second book I've read and I expected it to be similar to the other one I read. It's not and that threw me at first because I kept waiting for it to be familiar. Instead I finally figured out that dream sequences are the unique thing about it. In fact the bulk of the book is dreams, told in such a way as to tell the story of fallen angels who pretend to be aliens come to help humanity that actually have ulterior motives. My only caution to future readers is that it took a while to figure this out. Once I did I decided it's perfect for this book. So if you like Christian suspense, this is the book for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Triumph

“Beloved Evolution” is another triumph in the Father, Creator, Spirit series by Ms. Lamoreaux. It continues the battle between Heaven and the Verndari, fallen angels who want to destroy mankind. Standing in the gap against their plans are the angels who follow the Creator of All things. They have enlisted the—sometimes reluctant—help of men and women whom God has chosen to be His instruments of rescue to an increasingly dark world.
Insightful, imaginative, romantic, funny…Ms. Lamoreaux covers it all. An enjoyable read that will leave you waiting anxiously for the next book!
