Billy the Bubble: A Wild West Bubble Bath is a delightful children's tale written by Tia Batten and illustrated by Sillygoose.co. Billy the Bubble is the baddest bubble in Tubville, but once upon a time, Billy used to be nice. That changed, however, when he was mixed with dirt and grime. From that moment, he turned bad. Billy would dunk the bath toys, steal suds from the bubble bank, and even squirt pirates with his squirt gun. Everyone in Tubtown was afraid, and when Billy came riding into town on his rubber duckie, everyone hid. The new sheriff in town, Sheriff Pops the Octopus, is disappointed by the complaints he hears from the Tubville folk and tells Billy that there is no more bullying allowed. When Billy gets angry, Sheriff Pops tells him to be good or Billy will spend his remaining days in Toilet Town. In response, Billy pulls out his squirt gun... but it is too late, as a tentacle reaches out and pops Billy's bubble. What will happen next?
It has been a long time since I have read such a fascinating tale and it's the first time I have ever read a bath time story! Tia Batten has created the most magical story for youngsters who love splashing about in the tub at bath time, and the smile never left my face from beginning to end. I was able to picture a piece of animated Western cinema coming to life right here in my imagination, and I am sure that children would be equally entertained by naughty Billy and his soon-to-be-corrected bullying ways. I liked that the sheriff did not intend to do Billy any harm, but in simply threatening to run him out of town, the law had spoken and had its desired effect. I highly recommend Billy the Bubble: A Wild West Bubble Bath to all bubble bath families with children and feel this would make a great story to tell to youngsters during bath time.
