Bling, Bliss & Blunders: What Not To Do Before Your Wedding by Irene Woodbury is a madcap romantic comedy full of hijinks, heartache, and hilarity. What should have been two dream weddings in Las Vegas turns into a cascade of disasters complete with injuries, mistaken arrests, and one unforgettable incident involving a cheese factory. As tensions mount and relationships are tested, an unlikely romance begins amid the carnage, and it surprises everyone involved. With razor-sharp dialogue, unpredictable twists, and just the right touch of warmth, this story embraces chaos as a conduit for unexpected joy. Beneath the comedic disasters lies a message about second chances and finding love where you least expect it.

Author Irene Woodbury puts a lot of warm and genuine feeling into this novel, and brings a big-hearted comedic energy to her storytelling that makes the absurd feel relatable and the dramatic feel grounded with an ideal balance. The characters are eccentric without ever being turned into caricatures, and their interpersonal conflicts are delivered with just the right amount of farce and sincerity. I found the pacing brisk and the narrative beats consistently funny, especially when things go wildly off-script. The Las Vegas setting adds glitter to the chaos, making everything feel a little larger than life. This is one of those books that surprises you with its emotional depth even while you’re laughing. Overall, Bling, Bliss & Blunders is a wildly entertaining romantic comedy that embraces imperfection and finds heart in the mess, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it.

Irene Woodbury's Bling, Bliss & Blunders is a dark romantic comedy. Shane Roberts and his fianceé Jinx Larue came to Sin City from Atlantic City, New Jersey, hoping to get married. But after being embroiled in an unexpected car crash with another engaged couple, their plans are shattered, and Shane ends up in the hospital with broken ribs. Lizzie Callahan and her fiancé, Billy Hatchet, were supposed to be married in Vegas. Instead, they unwittingly find themselves in an accident that lands Billy in jail, leaving Lizzie heartbroken and lost. After an escalating series of events, Lizzie finds herself falling in love with Shane. However, Lizzie and Shane must not underestimate the vengeful rage of their former jilted lovers. Can Lizzie and Shane escape their crazy exes?

Layered with dry humor, romance, suspense, and drama, Bling, Bliss & Blunders keeps you engaged from beginning to end. Author Irene Woodbury has spun a hilarious yarn with twists and turns galore. You never know what to expect from these characters. The romance between Shane and Lizzie is sweet, and you want to see them end up together. On the other hand, Jinx and Billy are unhinged, yet you can't help but be entertained by their antics. I thoroughly enjoyed these characters. If The Hangover (the movie) were written like a romantic, dark comedy/adventure, you would probably end up with something like this. The plot is intricately crafted, and the narrative moves at a brisk pace. I heartily recommend this book to anyone who enjoys stories packed with dry humor, romance, and a healthy dose of delicious drama.

Bling, Bliss & Blunders by Irene Woodbury is a hilarious look at 'What Not To Do Before Your Wedding.' Las Vegas, June 2022, and two couples are there to get married. Neither couple knows the other, but that won’t stop what happens next. A party the night before the two weddings gets wildly out of control, with a drunken bride who gambles her engagement ring away and a groom who finds himself entangled with strippers and drugs. Will the weddings actually happen? That’s a good question, especially when two unlikely people fall in love.

Bling, Bliss & Blunders by Irene Woodbury is one of the funniest and most heartwarming tales I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. It is marketed for the young adult audience, but honestly, I think anyone will enjoy this, regardless of age. The main characters are introduced quickly, just to let you know who they are, and then they’re fleshed out more as the story goes on. They are wholly likable, real people, and if you’ve ever thought about getting married in Las Vegas, this might just put you off! Seriously, though, this is about as real as it gets; two couples couldn’t have gotten into more trouble if they tried, and I guarantee a bellyful of laughs, although there are some sweet moments, too. It’s full of emotion and action, and most of all, it’s fun all the way through. If you want a good read to take your mind off your own life for a while, grab a copy and settle in.

Bling, Bliss & Blunders: What Not To Do Before Your Wedding by Irene Woodbury is a hilarious and dramatic story about two couples headed to Las Vegas for their weddings and the wild chaos that follows. Jinx and Shane, and Lizzie and Billy, are strangers at first, but their lives crash together—literally—outside a cheesy Vegas wedding chapel. Both couples are dealing with big issues before they even say "I do," from cheating, drunken fights, and lost rings to lies, hangovers, and last-minute doubts. A car crash brings everything to a halt and sets off a chain of events involving hospitals, arrests, trials, and broken dreams. As their wedding plans fall apart, secrets come out, emotions run high, and the real test of love begins. The story is full of fast-paced action, sharp dialogue, and unforgettable Vegas madness. It's about how fast things can go wrong and what people are made of when they do.

Irene Woodbury writes with humor, honesty, and a sharp eye for human behavior. The plot is interesting, packed with surprising turns that make it hard to put the book down. The pacing is excellent; never too slow, never too fast. The characters are flawed but realistic, and their emotions feel genuine. The Vegas setting adds a fun, chaotic energy that fits the story perfectly. I enjoyed how Bling, Bliss & Blunders mixes comedy with serious moments, showing both the glitter and the grit of love under pressure. As someone who loves character-driven stories with a twist, I found this novel both entertaining and emotionally satisfying.

Shane Roberts and his fiancée, Jinx, are headed to the chapel to exchange vows when their rental car is involved in a freak accident in the parking lot. Paramedics rush the young accountant to a nearby hospital for urgent care. On the way, he realizes he can't find Jinx and, after asking around, learns that his fiancée has gone to the police station to handle some matters. The only person with him during this emergency is Lizzie Callahan, whose fiancé, Billy Hatchet, caused the crash. As they get to know each other better, they form a friendship based on their shared experiences. Neither of them suspects they have more in common than just the car accident, as the upcoming weeks will reveal in Irene Woodbury's Bling, Bliss & Blunders.

Comedy is in full swing in Irene Woodbury's Bling, Bliss & Blunders. Woodbury excels in character development, highlighting Jinx's and Billy's questionable habits and then comparing them to their partners' traits when explaining how they met. The dialogue is humorous, even on serious topics, such as when Shane's parents discuss his wedding plans. The focus on each character's inner traits, balancing flaws with strengths, like Jinx's exceptional managerial skill, creates a realistic narrative that romance purists will appreciate. Adventure readers will enjoy following Billy's daring antics as he tries to win Lizzie's heart for good. Woodbury skillfully weaves these different plot threads into a cohesive narrative, emphasizing the importance of patience and preparation for life-changing decisions, making this a highly entertaining novel. I enjoyed reading Bling, Bliss & Blunders and believe readers will learn a great deal from it.
