Clinical Execution: Revenge with Passion by M.E. Haul is a compelling story that follows the life of a successful and happily married surgeon until the tide turns against him. Daniel Bishop enjoys his job which is, for him, an extension of his life, but when his wife, Sarah, becomes a member of the British Heritage Party, a party with a horrible agenda to restore England to what it once was, a nation with no immigrants, things begin to turn bad for Daniel. Of course, his colleagues and senior management notice the absurd, abhorrent nature of the party’s policies, and this affects Daniel’s work a lot.
Sarah makes rapid progress within the party, and as if that wasn’t enough to destroy Daniel, she starts an affair with the party’s leader, Guy Forsythe. Daniel loses his wife, is not invited to his daughter’s wedding, but when his two beloved pet dogs are murdered, he is pushed to the edge of insanity and he exacts a revenge that will stun both ordinary people and the police. Daniel has been turned into a monster and there is no going back in his revenge. What happens next is for the reader to find out.
There is so much to enjoy in M.E. Haul’s novel, which combines elements of crime fiction with a thriller to create a world of great excitement and entertainment for readers. The characters are well-imagined and the story is beautifully plotted, laced with psychologically intense moments, a powerful conflict, and twists that readers won’t see coming. Clinical Execution: Revenge with Passion reads like your perfect psychological thriller, a story that will take readers on an emotional ride. It was hugely entertaining for me.
