In Did You Know? Night Sky, we explore what can be seen and felt by simply looking up at the night sky. The stars have been around for many many years and from the earliest days till now, stars have been used as guides. It’s a very important map that travelers follow. They trust the stars and rely on them to help them get to where they are going. They illuminate our paths in the night to show us where we are headed. Just like the stars, our internal light does the exact same thing as the moon and stars. It teaches us to focus on our path in life and to do it with love. That light has so much wisdom that comes from the universe and it’s found in everyone. It’s all cosmic energy, no matter where it’s at. Just like the stars and the moon, we are meant to shine. We carry the same message as the stars, which is what love is all about.
I thought Did You Know? Night Sky was very interesting and spiritual. I haven’t read a book that describes stars in such a way, but I found it really enjoyable. I think kids will really enjoy it and will be able to connect something as simple as the stars in the sky to the spark they carry within. I also really enjoyed the illustrations. They are beautifully done and fit perfectly with the storyline. It’s definitely a book I would recommend to friends with children. I think Lisa White has done a wonderful job with Did You Know? Night Sky and I look forward to reading more of her work.
