¿Dónde está Kudra?/ Where is Kudra? by EM Kinga Mac is a bilingual children's educational storybook about a traveling dog, Kudra. Meet Kudra, a bilingual dog. Born on a farm, and raised in a village, Kudra travels with her mommy to many different places. Each place has a unique history and exciting facts that Kudra is more than willing to share with you. Learn with Kudra as she visits fascinating regions such as the lime capital of Mexico, or discover from where the ancient Aztecs originated. Sample different recipes (Kudra's favorite, of course!) from different cities of Mexico, and learn some Mexican mythology. After you travel, learn about emotions in Kudra's personal stories. Best of all, as you venture from place to place with Kudra, learn English/Spanish! Do you want to learn with Kudra?
¿Dónde está Kudra?/ Where is Kudra? is a stimulating children's book with colorful illustrations and double-column, double-language pages. I have read many bilingual books, and I must say this one is different. I believe that this book would appeal to children with sensory issues, as the stories involve all five of the most commonly used senses, and explore Kudra's feelings. I loved that the author included recipes so that children can interact with the story. The dual-column, double-language pages are clear and easy to read. I recommend this book to children and adults as it is an excellent learning/teaching resource for ESL, or those learning Spanish.
