Dream Stories: Unlocking Your Night Parables by Michael B. French is a book that will appeal to those who want to understand what their dreams are telling them. This book offers readers a wide range of dream interpretation techniques, allowing readers to understand the underlying principles in dream interpretation while drawing inspiration from biblical stories. The author leads readers through the dreams of both biblical and historical personages, nudging them towards the startling truth that God speaks to His people through their dreams. In fact, in the Bible readers read these words: “And He said, ‘Hear my words: If there is a prophet among you, I the Lord make myself known to him in a vision; I speak with him in a dream.’” (Numbers 12:6.) But what do our dreams tell us? This book will help readers understand the place that dreams have in their lives, how to interpret them, and how to allow them to guide their lives and decisions.

One of the misconceptions that readers may have is thinking that dreams as a medium of communication between God and humankind is limited to biblical figures, but with contemporary examples, the author demonstrates that God continues to reveal Himself, to communicate with His people through dreams. As I read through this book, some of the powerful dreams I have had came vividly to my mind and I could see them differently. Dream Stories: Unlocking Your Night Parables is an informative and highly entertaining book, well-written, and the author’s confidence comes across powerfully through the limpidity of the prose. Michael B. French reveals secrets in this book that will help readers change the way they view dreams, and allow their dreams to prompt them to make life-changing decisions.
