Victoria Shelford has always been the apple of her father’s eye. She eloped to avoid a prearranged marriage. After her parents disowned her, she is on her own. She was on vacation when she met Andrew Wyndham, a mysterious gentleman. He was a man with a past and a daughter that he kept hidden. Their friendship blossomed. Will he eventually reveal his daughter to his father who feels Andrew can do nothing right?
This was an interesting read and it reminded me of Victoria Holt’s novels. It was very easy to get involved with the characters. The descriptions of the India scenery make for an excellent read. This is a book that will keep the reader involved from beginning to end. If you like sweet historical romances then you will enjoy "Echoes of a Promise” This is the first of Ashleigh Bingham's books I have read and I enjoyed her writing very much.
