Endless by Chris Winters is the mysterious story of a man who miraculously appears during the world’s biggest disasters and saves lives, including 9/11, Hurricane Katrina, the tsunami in Indonesia, the Vietnam War, and more. His best friend George, who served with him in the Vietnam War and whose life he saved, runs into him at the bank after 47 years. George is delighted, but Cris maintains that he does not know George and that his name is Isaac. Unconvinced, George goes on a mission to find evidence that Isaac is his wartime friend, and he enlists the services of his son, John, who happens to be one of the best private detectives in Florida. They don’t know why or how Cris can be present during these disasters, but they intend to track down the evidence and get to the bottom of the mystery.
Endless by Chris Winters is a gripping, adventure-filled, and suspenseful story that takes an unexpected turn. Although I had theories regarding Cris/Isaac’s miraculous appearances over centuries, they all proved to be wrong. Endless is captivating and action-packed, recounting some of the biggest disasters in world history. Winters held my attention, and I couldn’t wait to reach the next chapter or return to finish the book. I felt as if I was on the journey with George and John, eagerly anticipating the answers to these baffling events. This is a splendid, beautifully written, entertaining story, and I enjoyed reading it. I am incredibly impressed with the imaginative plot and conclusion – I didn’t see it coming.
