You may enjoy this 4 star review from Editing Pen on 9 Aug For anyone in the workplace, whether you are currently working, retired, or have not quite entered the working world, this book can be of great use. From ways to organize desk space to fun suggestions for livening up office meetings, Martin suggests that “work” and “enjoyment” are not necessarily mutually exclusive. Even for those in a noncorporate environment, the suggestions for how to “manage upward” and for increasing positive language can be attributed to many life situations. One of the ways this book is unique is that it is not written by a celebrity or big-time CEO but rather by an “average guy” working in a regular office, whose ethos comes from his everyday experiences. If you are looking for a fun, entertaining read and are willing to overlook grammar mistakes, you’ll enjoy this “office survival” guide. A fun and relaxing read!
