Fast Forward into Freedom: A Wholistic Journey Spirit, Soul and Body by Jan Schaffner is Volume III in the Freedom series. Jan is a “freedom fighter” intent on sharing the lessons she's learned on her spiritual journey. Jan shares her experience of struggling with weight loss and the subsequent health problems associated with bad eating habits. With the help of the Holy Spirit, Jan had a breakthrough at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. After plenty of research and soul-searching Jan tried 16-hour fasting. Her weight loss and healing from chronic health issues were miraculous after such a simple change in her habits. Though simple in theory, Jan knows that there are stumbling blocks for anyone trying to overcome a habit. Her book explores the successful ways to tackle intermittent fasting and make it a permanent part of your life, through the help of God and connecting with the Holy Spirit.

Jan Schaffner has given me a lot to think about. I’ve always read about intermittent fasting but never dared to try it. Her book is filled with details of the physical and practical benefits and has given me the push I needed to try it. Fast Forward into Freedom contains helpful prayers, important questions to ask yourself, key points to consider, and reality checks to keep your progress strong and consistent. Jan provides several different fasting options, as intermittent fasting is not one size fits all, but can be tailored to every person. To top off all the good stuff, Jan adds a few delicious keto and low-carb recipes for readers to enjoy. Jan has truly done her best by fighting for our body’s health in this guide.

Jan Schaffner details what intermittent fasting is and explains its benefits. She suffered severe health problems, including a serious eye flare-up that caused partial blindness in her right eye due to her weight. Finding a practical method to lose weight was a long and frustrating process. Fast Forward into Freedom: A Wholistic Journey Spirit, Soul and Body is her story. She shares the path to freedom in her series of books. On this occasion she focuses on helping the body to be healthy. Here, she begins by narrating her experiences and talks about how her faith propelled her to continue with her inner struggle. She also explains what intermittent fasting is about. She then provides several effective protocols suitable for different lifestyles. Later she warns how to avoid self-sabotage and concludes with suggestions for low-carbohydrate meals and adds some recipes.

It was shocking to read how being overweight caused Jan Schaffner physical harm and that it took so long to arrive at a solution. That's why Fast Forward into Freedom is a useful read, as Jan will save time and effort for those who need help and inspiration. She is candid and makes it clear that results depend on the individual. She also guides you to plan without resenting the social pressure that following such a diet can create. In addition, she motivates readers to follow a protocol according to their specific needs. Her interest in wanting to help by sharing her experiences is clear from her writing. Jan demonstrates that it is possible to maintain a social lifestyle, living and eating with other people, and still stay in shape.

Human beings are composed of the spirit, soul, and body. This third volume of Fast Forward into Freedom deals with the body. Jan Schaffner writes using her journey into Intermittent Fasting (IF) and explains how it jumpstarted her into a lifestyle of wholeness. The book tells the many benefits of IF and warns that people don't fast because they believe the false information they have been given. Jan addresses one issue that is missing in most books on IF; that is the need for God’s intervention in generational attitudes. Real freedom comes only when we address all three parts of our being. When we think long-term and renounce the lies we believe, we will find true and lasting freedom. God is to be our comfort, but most of us have been taught to find comfort in food.

Jan Schaffner wrote Fast Forward into Freedom with the reader in mind. She knows there is no such thing as one-size-fits-all for human needs. This book deals with intermittent fasting but acknowledges we are all different and provides both options and variations on fasting. One of the keys to making IF work is not eating for at least 16 hours at a time. Jan urges the reader to use journaling as they start and continue this new lifestyle. This book is an easy read and will keep your interest because Jan’s style of writing is that of sharing her personal testimony; she does not become technical about the mechanics of fasting. I plan to start IF as it was finally explained in a way that drew my interest and encouraged me to begin a new and healthy lifestyle.

It's a scientifically proven fact that fasting helps maintain a healthy lifestyle over a prolonged period. But too often, most fasting plans end up poorly executed, leading to weight gain and other health issues. Fast Forward Into Freedom is the third volume of Jan Schaffner's Freedom series. This book provides readers with a scientifically and spiritually proven pathway to lasting freedom, weight loss, and healing. According to Schaffner, we are tri-dimensional beings created with an intricate combination of spirit, body, and soul. She recounts her own experiences at the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, during which she lost 35 pounds and healed in three areas using intermittent fasting as a powerful strategy that led her to the path of wholeness. So begin your journey to holistic freedom by working out your success story through intermittent fasting.

In Fast Forward Into Freedom, Jan Schaffner showcases the physical, practical, and spiritual benefits of intermittent fasting as well as fasting option plans and their potential pitfalls. At the end of each chapter, Schaffner provides some key points and questionnaires that highlight the essential aspects to make sure that readers can grasp the contents of the relative chapter. Everything is meticulously organized, and Schaffner's attention to detail enables you to understand the subject matter with ease. Toward the end of the book, Schaffner offers readers some personal recipes that not only look delicious but are also healthy and nutritious for the body and the soul. All in all, I found the book informative and highly inspirational.

After the Holy Spirit encourages her to look deeper into the studies surrounding intermittent fasting, Jan Schaffner finds a dieting solution that works for her. In Fast Forward to Freedom, she defines autophagy, discusses its benefits in weight loss and repairing diseased cells, and supports intermittent fasting with scripture from the Bible. Schaffner details her measurable, continued success throughout her testimonial, assuring us that she has had many health benefits that outweigh her weight loss. Finally, she invites us to chronicle our weight loss journey as we use the questions in her guide.

Jan Schaffner cares about her audience as she suggests prayers and spiritual cleansing throughout her guide, offers some of her favorite recipes and provides pages for journaling our progress. Through Christian-based decision-making, Schaffner has overcome triggers like stress and aligned her spirit with her physical body. She shares fasting options with detailed plans and gives us pages to write thoughts and feelings for meditation, prayer, or future reflection. She emphasizes that we must lean on the Lord for guidance as we navigate the difficulties associated with lifestyle changes. Schaffner encourages those who wish to change to work with the Holy Spirit to discover underlying reasons for their reluctance to fast. Fast Forward into Freedom is an excellent guide for those willing to open their minds to a new way of thinking about sustainable weight loss.

Fast Forward into Freedom by Jan Schaffner is a self-help physical and spiritual healing guide. It is the third volume in this series, and its main focus is physical healing. Volumes one and two are about spirit and soul healing. Schaffner begins by explaining her health struggles and how they not only affected her body but also had effects on her mental and spiritual well-being. Next, she talks about her Christian faith and the path that led her to discover the healing power of intermittent fasting and prayer. Finally, she shares exercises, prayer points, strategies, fasting regimes, and food recipes to help you lose weight, heal, and find freedom.

I love it when an author gives an honest and self-tested program. Fast Forward into Freedom is a guide that will require sacrifice and determination to achieve results. Jan Schaffner clearly states that you will need to prepare your mind and body to go on this taxing journey, but everything becomes easier when you finally get the rhythm and implement these habits in your life. Balancing the physical and spiritual aspects of your transformation will fuel you to attain goals and maintain progress. It is well-written and organized, with bold key points and underlined words to capture our attention. It also has writing sections to record your progress and personal reflections. The instructions are crystal clear; many will find the suggested plans easy to implement and follow. I suggest you get copies of the entire series to grasp and appreciate the message.

In Fast Forward into Freedom by Jan Schaffner, we learn to achieve results innovatively through Schaffner's personal experiences, which provide a broader perspective. Here, she reveals her method to lose weight and heal. As a result of her method, based on intermittent fasting, the body will begin to repair and restore itself. Furthermore, Schaffner pays attention to spirit and soul, including prayers and references to Holy Scripture. She also invites us to choose which fasting option fits our lifestyle best and shares many recipes for your eating window.

Fast Forward into Freedom surprised me. First, I did not expect a book dedicated to fasting and losing weight to consider the soul and spirit in addition to the body. This is what makes Jan Schaffner's method so remarkable and complete. This is the true path to freedom because a close relationship exists between our spirit and body, but the spirit has to be in charge, as Schaffner explains. I also liked that Schaffner thinks about the needs of all readers and offers us different options according to our lifestyles. The final part, dedicated to recipes, will be helpful to those who want to avoid doing lengthy searches to find which foods are healthier to eat. I recommend it to anyone looking to heal themselves in a practical, affordable, and flexible way. I am sure it will be of great help to readers.
