In Papa Paws' First Day of Puppy School, we meet Momo and Zoza, two adorable six-month-old pups getting ready for their first day of Puppy School. While Zozo is excited to make new friends and have fun experiences, Momo is more reserved and isn't quite sure how she feels about going to Puppy School. She's only hoping that she brings enough snacks. When the two get there, they find themselves with many other dogs that are a lot like them. They also meet their teacher, Ms. Biscuit, who is very kind. Throughout the day, Moma and Zozo have fun with the other dogs and learn new things. Even Momo comes out of her shell and finds herself enjoying the day. Before the sisters know it, the day is over, and when their parents come, Moma and Zozo have so much to tell them.
I think Papa Paws has once again amazed me with such an adorable book. I love the adventures that Momo and Zozo go on, and their trip to Puppy School is no different. Young children will love reading this book with their parents. I think it's the perfect book to read the night before the first day of school. Some children will be excited like Zozo, while others will be unsure like Momo, but they see that in the end it will be a great day. The illustrations by the author are so beautifully done and fit perfectly with the storyline. I highly recommend Papa Paws' First Day of Puppy School, and I can't wait for the next installment.
