Realizing the difficult task of raising a child and the need for prayer to help with parenting, Ms. Omartian wrote “For This Child I Prayed.” Full of lots of prayers that will guide you in praying for all of your children, this beautiful book is one you do not want to miss.
I’ve read many of Stormie Omaritan's books for adults on prayer, so I was thrilled to read her new book with prayers for our children and grandchildren. Though I think prayers should come from our hearts to God, I believe books like this can teach us how to pray and connect to God better. And when we really mean them, God hears prayers we read from the heart just as much as any. And these prayers are absolutely beautiful, using scripture verses to pray God’s Word back to Him. And along with the beautiful prayers, Illustrator Susan Rios created the most awesomely beautiful pictures that fit the prayers so well. The adorable pictures and the pretty, pretty colors give this book a warm, homey, and calm appearance. Overall, you can tell I love this little book. It is just precious and one that I strongly encourage you to add to your home library. And I always read children's books to my three year old niece Abbi, and this one passed the Abbi test with flying colors. She loves it and asks me to read it to her over and over! Thank you Stormie for writing this precious book.
