A psychic awakening can be a blessing or a curse, depending on the outcome. Telepathic messages may overpower us, as Richard Fort discovered to his cost. He describes his traumatic journey in Foreign Whispers: A Telepathic Awakening. It seems that a voice pops into your head, or a thought crosses your mind. The dilemma is whether it is your own inner voice or a mischievous entity from the realm of thought. The process needs to be managed. It does not serve one to be too open, and discernment is advised, as some links can be unhealthy. There is also a darker side, as telepathic battles or mind games can ensue. Some disturbing examples are shared. As he developed an increasing reliance on the spirit entities, the voices became louder, and visual transmissions followed. He became fixated on celebrities, or those who presented themselves as such. The situation became overwhelming. The encounters became less positive, degenerating into psychic debates, arguments, and conflicts. This raises the question as to whether telepathy can be trusted. The author concludes that telepathy is not a game, but a classic battle between good and evil. He was pushed to the edge of psychosis and depression, which culminated in a life-threatening incident.

Richard Fort introduces readers to what he describes as the realm of thought and our telepathic connections to the collective, which can be challenging. He ponders the images we transmit and their effects on ourselves and others. We should focus on channeling positive energy and holding a higher vibrational level. The author experienced episodes of psychic phenomena and descended into a state of demonic possession. He also experimented with cocaine and magic mushrooms, which drew him into a fantasy world of angels and demons. He also had encounters with extra-terrestrials, leading him to question whether we are enslaved by another species in a perverse simulation. Details of some alien races are provided. Some may write these experiences off as hallucinations, but they affect more people than we may imagine. Foreign Whispers may not appeal to all readers as it contains explicit references to sex, drugs, contact with alien races, dark entities, and some swearing. The book includes the author’s rules for telepathy and a bibliography. As the author reflects on his long road to recovery, he issues a warning to others while offering hope for the future.
