Five years ago Bethany Towers left her home and the love of her life, Roman Ragazzi. Two weeks later she was married to her boss’s son. Roman was still baffled at the turn of events. She was back in town and back in Romans life. She is now working as the new Deputy district Attorney.

Roman is a criminologist, a bestselling author and works as a special investigator for the prosecutor’s office. When Roman and his partner McKinsey Powers receive a call to come to a murder scene they realize that the two women killed were connected with the Safe Choice, a home for battered and abused women. Was this just a drive by shooting or was one of the victims the shooters intended. Soon both husbands are cleared of the shooting. Within a few days there is another murder. The MO is the same. A week later the Director of Self Choice is shot, but survives. With little information to go on, they continue to search for the killer. Could Bethany be the intended target.

This is an excellent suspense/romance. Lavada Dee kept you guessing right to the end of the book.This book needs some proofreading. I noticed several mistakes. This book is a page turner right to the very end. I highly recommend “Forever Love”.
