Gigglet and Wigglet's Alphabet Hop! by A.M. Berkowitz is a "piggy perfect" adventure to get little ones giggling. Join Gigglet and her baby brother Wigglet as they hop their way through the alphabet, from munching apples to dressing up like zebras, with a new surprise waiting on every page. This book is for giggling, wiggling, and shouting "Hip, hop, hooray!" right along with them, from A all the way to Z. It's the kind of book that gets kids moving instead of just sitting and listening. Each letter comes with its own little burst of energy, whether that's Gigglet and Wigglet baking as Big Chef and Little Chef or riding along on the Piggy Express, and the repetition in the text (apple, apple, apple!) makes it easy for beginning readers to catch the rhythm and join in.
The images by Nifty Illustration are bright and full of personality, and the sibling bond between Gigglet and her baby brother gives the whole book a lot of heart underneath the silliness. What really makes this book stand out is the QR code inside that unlocks actual dance moves, so storytime turns into something kids can get up and do with their whole body, not just their ears.
