This is a book comprised of 75 short devotional readings. The cover is so cute I just knew that this would be a great read.
The content page of this book breaks the readings down into 10 sections. Each section is made up of several stories that are related to each topic for the section. For example section 2 is called 'A Place To Call Home'. One of the stories is titled 'True Identity' and in this story we are told about a little rescue dog, Kloey. When the rescue organization decides to have Kloey micro chipped, the foster mom takes the dog to the vet only to find that Kloey already has a micro chip. We`re given hope that Kloey just might be reunited with her family but, unfortunately, her chip had never been registered. So no one ever knew Kloey's true identity. She is ultimately registered with the rescue group and now she will always have a home, a place to belong. In this particular story, the writer uses scripture to show us that we always have a place to call home because of our identity in Christ.
This is an amazingly well written book of devotional readings full of scriptural reference that will boost the spirit and add a little humor to your day.
