When he discovers the truth about Serafina's parents' deaths and who tried to kill him, things get even more dangerous, and secrets are bound to be spilled.
Hollis and Gray by J.P. Zeigler is a cracking start to a new series, filled with action and suspense. The story grabs you from the start, and as the tension builds, it pulls you in ever deeper until the surprise ending you won’t guess in a million years. The writing is compelling and descriptive enough to let you live the story, and the characters are wonderful, real people that you quickly become invested in and like. Their development builds up through the plot, allowing readers to get to know them properly. The story flicks back to the past at times, but this is done in such a way that it feels smooth and doesn’t confuse the reader. The ending sets the stage for another book, so here’s hoping it won’t be too long before it arrives. A thoroughly enjoyable story with plenty to keep one reading. Highly recommended to all fans of mystery stories.
