God speaks to us in many ways. Unfortunately, we are not always listening. We have distinctive abilities, talents, personalities, and etc. Some of us hear God in one way where others hear God’s voice in a very different way. God relates to us in the way he knows will reach you.
Paula Rice discusses the different ways in which we may hear God’s voice. God speaks to us through the written word, Scripture. It is still pertinent to our lives even, though many think it is out dated. Visions and dreams are another way that God speaks to us. At times, God speaks to me through dreams. Once I had a vision. I have met two people that heard God’s audible voice. What a unique, blessed experience that must have been.
I was most interested in the chapter on dreams; you need help interpreting your dreams. Not all dreams are messages from God.
It is sad that so many are unwilling to listen. Just ask God to speak to you. Be quiet and listen. Pray and mediate. He cares about you. He loves you, and he wants to hold a conversation with you.
Paula Rice is a talented author. Her book is informative and interesting. Her message is one we need to hear.
