If I Could Be a Puppy is a children’s picture book by Amy Noble that is an absolute delight to read. Have you ever wanted to be someone else or maybe even something else, like a puppy? This book provides a child’s perception of what it would be like to be a puppy instead of a human. Think of all the fun you could have if you were a puppy. You could do all sorts of things that your parents would not allow you to do as a child. However, as you think of all the fun you would have, you may remember some of the less enjoyable things like not being allowed to have chocolate because it is harmful to dogs. While imagination is fun, reality is better because you are the only one who can be you. You are unique and special.
Amy Noble both wrote and illustrated If I Could Be a Puppy, a rhyming, picture book for young children. The illustrations are adorable and will have your children laughing as they think about being a puppy. There are many lessons you can share with your children as on occasion most people do think about being someone or something else. This is natural and encouraging your child to use their imagination is vital to their growth. You can also explain that many people look as if they are having fun, but they also face difficulties. Encourage your child to be the best person they can be. Remind your child that they are the only one just like him. Enjoy laughing and spending time with your child as you read this book together.
