Being gentle and kind are two of the most important qualities of living a good life. Apart from making other people's lives better or, at the very least easier, it also adds value and fulfillment to your own. In My Heart is a children's adventure story by Julie Nichole with some beautifully drawn pictures by Blueberry Illustrations. The story highlights the benefits of being kind and follows a young girl named Katelyn. Katelyn and her beloved dog Toby make sure to smile and say hello to people they meet every day. Whenever Katelyn sees someone looking worried, she asks them about their problems, trying to encourage and help them if she can. Katelyn also does her chores and embraces people's unique qualities and differences. Hop on for a fun-filled adventure with Katelyn and Toby.

In My Heart is a children's picture book of rhymes that teaches the values of empathy, kindness, and forgiveness with an engaging adventure tale featuring a little girl and her dog. Julie Nichole's catchy rhymes are bound to draw children's attention, and they will enjoy reading an adventure story while gently learning some key aspects of being a good human being. Katelyn is an adorable character, and so is her dog Toby. Blueberry Illustrations' vibrant drawings bring these characters to life and help you become attached to them. I had a wonderful time reading the story and am particularly impressed by Nichole's message and how she integrates it. Highly recommended.

If what the world needs now is love, then the way to show love is through kindness. Julie Nichole wrote In My Heart: A Book About Kindness to teach children how to show kindness to those around them. It is full of ideas showing children how to be kind to their families and neighbors. Among the many methods are sharing a smile, saying hello, forgiving, encouraging others, and seeing how they can help someone sad. Children are also taught to share with those who are in need. Even young children can help their parents by doing their chores or carrying a bag of groceries. By loving and being true to yourself, you can better love others through being kind. Teach your child that kindness is a choice and always the right one.

I love the song by Glen Campbell, “Try a Little Kindness.” It reminds us that kindness goes a long way in correcting what is wrong in society. Julie Nichole has brought that message to children with In My Heart. It will help children see the need to be kind to others. Parents can read it to their children and discuss how they can share kindness. Encouraging children to be kind will help improve the world. The illustrations are brilliantly executed by Blueberry Illustrations; they capture the joy of helping others. Entertain your child while teaching them the importance of always being kind. I highly recommend it be added to every child’s library.

This adorable children's book "In My Heart" .
Is a wonderfully but simply written book about kindness that has been dedicated to my daughter Katelyn McCarthy and written by my good friend Julie Nichole, it is written with Katelyn in mind and the many simple ways to be kind and to spread kindness around to everyone no matter how unique or different they may be, to be more inclusive from the start. It illustrates how important it is for everyone. I feel all children need to learn this very early on. ❤️
Julie thank you for your love and support for Katelyn and I. I love you.
