When some of the Druids decided to use their powers for their own benefit, the Guardians of Time were formed to protect the world from the ripple effect. Meredith and Aiden were two of the Guardians. They set up a safe haven in Scotland. The clan was mistress led.

Lady Alycia ruled the haven when its location was betrayed by someone. The soldiers came looking for her daughter, Raven, so they could control her. The girl and Martha managed to escape the ensuing slaughter.   Raven spent the next few years planning to regain her kingdom. She had to face her memories. Laird Jamie McKay loved the willful young woman, but would he give up on her?

The plot of The Legend of the Laird and the Lady is breathtaking. It grabs the reader’s attention and does not let go. The characters are well-defined, strong, and endearing. The supporting characters bring depth to the plot.   The Legend of the Laird and the Lady is very good reading, offering romance, adventure, and suspense all in one book.
