Little Jesus and the Carpenter's Woodshop is a book from The Little Jesus Chronicles by Kimberley Gordon, Viviana Camille, and Olivia Francine. Little Jesus and His dog, Wolfie, are ready for a new day and Jesus's mother explains He will be joining His father, Joseph, at his workshop. Jesus and His cousin, James, walk with Jesus's Uncle Cleopas in search of something specific. At the workshop, Joseph was busy building something that if paired with the materials the boys collected would be a lovely addition to Jesus and James's grandparents' home. After the story, the authors include a scavenger hunt, a map of the area where the story takes place, and a space for children to add their artwork.

Kimberley Gordon, Viviana Camille, and Olivia Francine have joined forces to create a fun and sweet vision of Jesus's younger years. In the absence of documents about His youth, Viviana and Olivia expressed their hope to Kimberly, their grandmother, that they could tell thought-provoking stories about the adventures Jesus may have experienced. Their request resulted in the creation of The Little Jesus Chronicles. This wholesome story raises good discussion points about the food and culture during Jesus's lifetime and the types of activities He might have enjoyed. My young children were delighted to think of Jesus as a young boy and related to his excitement in the story. Caregivers who want to share an adventurous, Christian-based story with their children will feel comfortable reading them Little Jesus and the Carpenter's Woodshop.

Targeted at a young audience, this tale is part of a series that envisions the daily life of Jesus as a child. The story follows Little Jesus and his puppy Wolfie as they embark on a day filled with small adventures and chores under the watchful eyes of family members. There’s even a page for children to add their artwork. This book is an excellent addition to any young reader’s library. It offers an educational and enjoyable story with plenty of opportunities for learning and engagement. It’s a perfect bedtime story.

Little Jesus is woken up by the sound of birds chirping outside his window. When his chores are done, he and his dog Wolfie head to the carpentry workshop, where Uncle Cleopas takes them with Cousin James on an adventure. Hiking to a stream, they must find certain rocks to complete a project. While they have fun on their adventure, will they manage to find the right rocks?

Little Jesus and the Carpenter's Woodshop by Kimberley Gordon, Viviana Camille, and Olivia Francine is a child's Christian adventure story with stunning illustrations by FolksnFables. This is a fun story but also helps children learn about using their imaginations. It also teaches them not to give up and keep looking – eventually, they will find exactly what they are looking for. This is a well-written story, the third in the Little Jesus Chronicles series, and it has some lovely characters. At the back of the book is a glossary of the Hebrew words used in the story with their meanings and a guide on pronouncing them. An I SPY Activity is also included, asking kids to find certain characters in seven pictures in this book, helping them sharpen their powers of observation and adding a fun aspect. Kids of all ages will love reading and listening to this story, whether at bedtime or during reading time at home or school.
