Looking Out From The Inside is a memoir that makes readers look into the life of Tressa Mitchener and the wrong choices she made while growing up, and living in a world filled with spiritual darkness. Her challenges and struggles helped her emerge with spiritual vision and empower herself with the message of the redemptive power of Jesus Christ. Her story is moving, but it is encouraging to see how she has turned her life around and is now using her voice to educate people through the word of God. The book reiterates the power of Jesus Christ and also the power of forgiveness. It is a story of struggles, abuse, loss, hope, and faith.

I found the author’s story heartrending and her childhood trauma and the experiences that shaped her behavior and character are palpable and relatable. The book throws light on how families and parents can actually make or break a child and their future. The book is honest and direct and will touch the hearts of readers in many ways, and some of them may have gone through the same experiences in their personal lives. The author encourages readers to improve in every area of their lives and reach their full potential. The book has a lot of uplifting and motivational messages to readers that will inspire them to look at life with a positive outlook, in spite of the highs and lows they experience. The author’s words and experiences also help in enhancing spiritual awareness in readers.
