Welcome to Jasper Idaho--a small town with one Doctor, Ben Taylor. After a motorcycle accident that put him in a wheel chair for a while, he is waiting for the new resident doctor to arrive.
Julia Chambers will be there for 3 months finishing part of her internship, but she is bringing a lot of hidden baggage with her. How can a girl that has been raised in the big city of Portland make it in a backwoods place like Jasper? That is until she starts meeting the people that live there.
Will Julia stay in Jasper? Can Ben make a Country Doctor out of her? Is there romance brewing in the small-town clinic?
This was a very delightful read that takes you along on the many twists and turns of being a country doctor who still makes house calls. It shows the dynamics of a small town.
