May You Always Find Wonder: A Story of Cherishing Simple Moments Together by Alina Loux follows the story of Ava and her mother as they seek to find wonder through the swing in the backyard. Although the act of swinging might seem simple, it transports Ava on various adventures and shows her many wondrous things. And through this simple act, the bond between a mother and daughter was forged.
May You Always Find Wonder by Alina Loux is a beautiful story that focuses on the relationship and bond between a mother and her child. Through the simple act of going out to the garden and having fun on a swing, this mother-and-daughter duo was able to create so many memories. I think this book perfectly illustrates how strong the connection between a mother and child is, and how that bond can help shape a child’s life and perspective. We see Ava as she imagines various fantastical scenarios and how they help her overcome some hardships in her life. When she has troubles, she goes back to the swing to find her joy and positivity in life. I think this book has a wonderful lesson for young children and parents alike in that it teaches you to cherish the little things. Small moments like enjoying playing on a swing can have great significance for a child and shape the way they view the world. Overall, this book is touching, heartfelt, and well-written. This book would make a good addition to a family with young children.
