Me: Life Guide and Guided Journey by Journal Featuring 11 Weeks of 7 Soul Minds Exercises by Jennifer Ayers-Belinkis is a wonderful guide to self-awakening, a book that sets the reader on the path to embracing the old adage from the Greek philosopher, Socrates: “Man, know thyself!” In this book, the author challenges readers to do the one thing that everyone hates —getting acquainted with who they are. As I picked this book, I couldn’t help but notice the irony in its message, because in an era when we are encouraged to take flights from home and from ourselves and to indulge in contemporary distractions — our gadgets, the media, and our hectic work — here is an author encouraging readers to reconnect intimately with themselves. This book has a powerful premise — our level of success in life depends hugely on how well we become aware of “who” we really are. But how do we discover who we truly are? This book answers this question and more.
Jennifer Ayers-Belinkis’s book is an eye-opener, as inspirational as it is motivational. The author teaches readers to master what she calls the EAT of personal development, providing them with the tools they need to master their emotions, actions, and thoughts. This book underlines the place of journaling in personal growth because when we stop to think about our memories, we begin to understand how they relate to how we feel and think. This book offers readers powerful exercises to guide them on the journey to self-discovery and self-mastery. You’ll see and think differently about yourself, your potential, and why you are here after reading this book. It is packed with wisdom and insightful thoughts. One of the things I learned from this book is that: “One of life’s greatest ironies is that we will always want what we think we don’t have, but if we look close enough we will always have exactly what we need.” Here is a book about you, a book written just for you, a book proposing a path you can work toward by yourself.
