Musings of the Miracle Man: Words of Wisdom, Words of Hope by Barbara Hollace is filled with inspiring words shared from the Bible as well as intimate quotable moments taken from her life with her husband Bill. The journey that Bill and Barbara embarked on together, along with God at the helm, was one filled with struggles and odds that were overcome. There were many quotes that resonated, but one on page 32, “There is more there than meets the eye and I don’t want to meet it.” This can mean different things to different people. For me, it sets the tone for meeting something that is totally “unknown” and can’t be grasped by a spirit bound to a physical body. Something scary, but something that you can’t help but be curious about.
Barbara Hollace’s Musings of the Miracle Man is a touching account of moments in time with the love of your life in the midst of a crisis of health. You don’t read about it often, but as a human being, you can experience similarities in life. The pain of struggle; the ecstasy of love that, when finally found, feels like God’s ultimate gift. Musings of the Miracle Man serves as a guide to those who are in need and are seeking spiritual support and human support. Whether we realize it or not, each and every single one of us intrinsically needs the “helping hands” that Barbara Hollace’s book is able to provide. You may shed a few tears while reading this book, but that in itself is a cleansing of the physical body.
