One Jesus One Way by The Proving Jesus Group is a biblical, inspirational book that is very suitable for Bible study and personal meditation. This work takes a closer look at the question of salvation, taking the reader through the journey from man's fall in the Garden of Eden, a fall that ushered humanity into sin, through God's plan to reconnect with humankind, to the grace of Salvation in Jesus and the role of the Church. This book is very relevant for those who are carried away by the frenzy of neo-Pentecostalism and can't see the difference between the freedom to seek salvation through the path proposed by Jesus and a sick spirituality that is everything but the essence of what the scriptures teach.
The author shows great mastery of the Bible in this book and allows the scriptures to speak for themselves, matching his commentaries with relevant passages from both the Old and the New Testaments. The author shows the dichotomy between the Word of God and the reality of what has become popular belief. He asks questions that compel readers to reflect on their faith and to rethink the core message of the Bible. For instance: “It is ignorant to believe the kingdom of God is fuelled by money. However, the servants in this church in Laodicea believed the concept. Such ignorance depicts these servants as lacking in knowledge. How can one build a church without studying the Word of God?” Here is a point that most believers hardly stop to ponder on and, desperate for quick answers to fundamental questions, they are misled into thinking they can buy their way to spiritual freedom.
One Jesus One Way challenges readers to embrace the only path to inner and spiritual freedom, the seemingly difficult path that actually brings salvation. This book challenges you to look at Jesus with fresh eyes and to approach religion with a new understanding, one rooted in the Bible.
