One Mind's Words by Jennifer Johnson is a collection of poems about life and life's lessons. The author has interspersed the emotions and the lessons learnt from life in the poems and has managed to bring out a very impressive collection. The poems have some message for all of us out there who have experienced the same emotions but have not really taken the time to think about it.
I enjoyed this collection because every poem has a message which the author has conveyed with elan. Each poem begins with a saying based on the author's lessons in life and observations. The language is simple and elegant and the wordplay is excellent, adding to the effectiveness of the author's thoughts. All the poems that follow the quotes express the views of the quote in a more detailed manner.
One Mind's Words has some inspiring poems which motivate you to change and take a look at yourself. It teaches you how to look at life with all its beauty and flaws. It is difficult to say which poem is good. All the poems have some profound thought in them which can help you change your thinking. These poems can capture the interest of any reader, even if they are not poetry lovers. It is because all the poems are written targeting the common man and the emotions experienced.
