Who doesn't love rhymes, right? Now imagine a picture book full of 19th-century illustrations with 21st-century rhymes. In Rhymes for Small and Large, Tom Hindley pens his poems alongside the work of German artist and painter Paul Thumann, who drew these illustrations for his book in 1880. Hindley puts a fun twist in every one of his rhymes, rejoicing in the delights of life. This collection contains a wide variety of rhymes and stories. Some of them include a violinist's love for his instrument, a child enjoying the care and safety of their mother, the joy of swinging on a swing, the love of a mother for her child, a story about five little angels coming together to make a delicious meal, the advent of summer, a couple of haiku poems, and much more.

Prepare yourself for a fun-filled time with Rhymes for Small and Large. Tom Hindley has written some catchy verses that stay in your mind long after you've finished reading them. Of course, children will love this collection, but what sets it apart from other children's books is that even adults will have a good time reading this book. Paul Thumann's illustrations act as a complementary backdrop and feel like the icing on the cake. From a child learning how to ride a horse to the wonders of being a frog, this vibrant collection of rhymes will make you smile. So, kids and adults, grab a copy and enjoy.
