Rockabye Robin is a heartwarming picture book by Bridgette McGibbeny. It beautifully portrays a mother bird, filled with patience and love, waiting for her three blue eggs to hatch. With tender care, the mother bird guides her three baby birds - Mattie, Ben, and Charlie - teaching them songs, games, and how to eat. She also imparts essential lessons on living in the real world and staying safe as they grow. As the chicks mature, they each follow their unique paths: Mattie becomes a singer and loves being a momma. She takes her babies on many adventures. Charlie has always loved his momma's stories, so he pursued his love for books by attending college. Charlie also discovered that french fries are better than worms. Ben wants to help other birds in the world by building their nests. He travels near and far to build a nest in big cities. Despite their different paths, coming home is still the best for the whole family.

Rockabye Robin is a beautifully illustrated children's book with vibrant and captivating images that will enchant young readers. The book's focus on love, motherhood, and the freedom for children to pursue their own paths is genuinely inspiring.
