With her resentment and a great deal of misunderstanding, the couple faces off, battling with words, actions, and a funny incident with swords, as they prepare for a wedding of convenience that may be more of a true love match.
Holly Kerr knows how to keep readers turning the pages! The narrative shifts between Camille and Odin as they reveal their insecurities and bounce between marrying out of a sense of duty and committing their hearts to love. The story moves along quickly, providing flashes of romance and worrisome disagreements in the six weeks before their wedding is scheduled. It's easy for readers to see the chemistry between Odin and Camille, and the couple finds every excuse to be together and apart. Laandia is the perfect backdrop for the tale, adding more charm to the romantic setting. The family adds to the dynamic, as Odin's brothers have distinctive styles that are certain to attract their own love stories.
