Rune Myth's Pirate Alphabet by Shannon E Langel invites us to take part in a wonderful adventure. Rune Myth is a playful dog that will help children from 3 to 5 years of age study the alphabet and be entertained at the same time. From this interactive book, young readers will learn how pirates greet each other, where they keep their "piratey things," what they wear, or how to recognize a friendly ship, among many other thrilling aspects of a pirate's life. Rune Myth's Pirate Alphabet thoroughly explains what pirate treasure is and where it could be hidden! Also, the book shows animals that dwell in the ocean. Every letter of the alphabet stands for a certain "pirate" term, like "G" for "gold" or "O" for "ocean."
Educational and humorous, Rune Myth's Pirate Alphabet is a true treasure. Shannon E Langel's amazing book allows kids to learn exciting new words, like "compass" or "helm," explaining how to use them. Vividly illustrated by Shannon herself, Rune Myth's Pirate Alphabet would not only assist children in memorizing ABC easier but would become an amusing read for their parents and teachers as well. I had so much fun as I was reading about Rune Myth's escapades. It is worth adding that Rune Myth is a lovable main character, who is very interesting to follow. In my opinion, this book would not only educate young children or expand their vocabulary but also instill a love of reading adventurous tales in them in the future. I appreciate Shannon E Langel's approach to creating informative and educational literature for little readers.
